Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Measure Map Online. These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Measure Map Online websites, web application (app.measuremaponline.com), APIs, embeddable components and related services (together, the “Service”), operated by Blue Blink One, SL (CIF B44518892) (“Blue Blink One”, “we”, “us”), Av. del Mar, 55, 12003 Castellón de la Plana, Spain. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms replace version 2.0 of 19 August 2026: from 29 October 2026 for accounts created on or after that date, and from 29 November 2026 for accounts created before it, which remain under version 2.0 until then. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data. For Enterprise and API customers, a Data Processing Agreement that sets out Section 10 in full is available on request.
1. The Service
Measure Map Online is a cloud-based measurement platform. Depending on your plan, it lets you draw polygons, polylines and location markers (“spots”) on maps; measure areas, perimeters, distances and elevation profiles; find shapes in map imagery with AI detection; attach photos and descriptions; assign priced products to geometries to produce cost estimates; import and export data in common formats (including PDF, CSV, KML, KMZ, GeoJSON, GPX and others); share projects; embed projects in your own websites; offer measurement to your own clients through guest links; collaborate with team members in an organisation; and automate workflows through our REST and iFrame APIs.
Features vary by subscription plan, and we may add, change or remove features as the Service evolves (see Section 18). Features marked as beta or preview are offered for evaluation; they may change or be withdrawn, and Section 16 applies to them in full.
2. Accounts
You can register with an email address and password or through a supported identity provider (currently Google Sign-In, and your organisation’s single sign-on once we have switched it on for the organisation — see Section 8.3). You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials — we recommend turning on two-step verification — and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@blueblinkone.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
An account is for one person. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to purchase a subscription. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you are authorised to bind that entity to these Terms.
3. Plans, Trials & Billing
3.1 Free trial
New accounts may receive a one-time 30-day free trial of the Pro plan, without giving a payment method. One trial is available per person and email address. You will not be charged during the trial; paid features stop at the end of the trial unless you subscribe.
3.2 Subscription plans
- Pro — a single-user subscription with flat recurring billing.
- Enterprise — a per-seat subscription for an organisation, with a minimum of 5 seats and a maximum of 1,000, and never fewer seats than the organisation has members. The subscription owner can create and manage member accounts (Section 8).
- Open Guest — for offering measurement to your own clients through guest links and embeds: a monthly base fee that includes a number of guest projects, plus a charge for each further guest project created through your account in the billing period, billed at the end of that period. You can set a monthly budget: when the period’s charges would pass it, new guest projects stop until the next period or until you raise it.
Current prices, what each plan includes, billing periods (monthly or yearly) and supported currencies (currently USD and EUR) are shown at the point of purchase. Prices exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise; VAT or other taxes are applied where required by law.
3.3 Payment and renewal
Payments are made by card and processed by our payment provider (currently Stripe). We no longer accept PayPal: existing PayPal subscriptions are cancelled as we retire it, we tell each subscriber by email, and the plan stays active until the end of the period already paid; switching to a card keeps it going. We do not store your full card details. Your bank may ask you to confirm a payment (for example with 3-D Secure); a payment you do not confirm is not taken. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, charged to your default payment method, until cancelled. If a payment fails we may retry it, and paid features may be suspended until it is settled.
How the contract is made. You choose a plan and billing period, enter or confirm your billing details and payment method, review the price and taxes on the checkout page — where you can go back and correct anything before you pay — and confirm. The contract is concluded in English. We keep the version of these Terms that applies to you, and the current version is always available at this page; previous versions are available on request. Your invoices are available in your account.
3.4 Plan and seat changes
You can switch plans at any time. Upgrades, plan switches and added seats are charged straight away for the rest of the current billing period (prorated), and take effect once that payment succeeds, including any confirmation your bank asks for; a change still waiting for its payment lapses after about a day and nothing changes. When you move to a cheaper plan or remove seats, the unused part of what you paid is credited to your account and used on your next invoices; it is not paid out.
3.5 Automatic seats
On Enterprise, if you turn on automatic seats, adding a member when every seat is taken buys one more seat, charged to your default payment method as in Section 3.4; the member is added only once that seat is paid. Removing a member then removes the extra seat, never below the minimum, with credit as in Section 3.4. This also applies to people who join through single sign-on (Section 8.3).
3.6 Pausing billing
Instead of cancelling you can pause billing. Nothing is charged while billing is paused. Your plan’s features remain until the end of the period you have already paid for, then stop until you resume; your projects and settings stay as they are. You can set a date to resume automatically. Organisations with members cannot pause billing, because their members’ access depends on it.
3.7 Price changes
We may change our prices. We will tell you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before it does.
4. Invoicing & Tax Information
We issue invoices in accordance with Spanish invoicing and e-invoicing regulations (including the VeriFactu rules). Before completing a purchase you must provide accurate billing details: your billing address and a fiscal identification document (VAT/tax ID, national ID or passport number, as applicable). This information appears on your invoices, determines the taxes applied, and is reported where the law requires it. You are responsible for keeping your billing details accurate; incorrect details may prevent checkout or invalidate invoices.
5. Cancellation, Withdrawal & Refunds
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: you keep access to paid features until then, no further renewals are charged, and you can keep the subscription instead at any time before it ends. An organisation’s owner must remove its members before cancelling. Except where the law requires otherwise or these Terms say so, fees already paid are non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds for partial billing periods, unused seats or unused features; credits under Section 3.4 are used on future invoices.
Right of withdrawal (consumers in the EU). If you subscribe as a consumer, you may withdraw from a new subscription within 14 days of subscribing, without giving a reason, by telling us at support@blueblinkone.com with a clear statement of your decision. You can use the model withdrawal form at the end of these Terms, but you do not have to. Because you asked at checkout for the subscription to start straight away, you will pay an amount proportional to the service provided until you told us of your withdrawal, and we will refund the rest within 14 days, using the payment method you paid with. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
6. Your Content & Reporting Illegal Content
“Content” means everything you (or your members and guests) create or upload in the Service: projects, geometries and their coordinates, measurements, imported files and reference layers, product and pricing data, estimates, descriptions, comments and photos.
You own your Content. You grant Blue Blink One a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, reproduce, adapt (for technical purposes such as rendering, thumbnails and exports) and display your Content, solely as needed to operate, provide, secure and improve the Service, and to display it to the people you choose to share it with (see Section 7). This licence ends when your Content is deleted from the Service, subject to the backup periods in Section 15 and our legal obligations. We do not use your Content to train AI models.
You are responsible for your Content: you must have the necessary rights to upload it (including photos), and it must not be unlawful or infringe anyone’s rights. We may remove Content that violates these Terms or the law (see Section 6.2). You can export your projects and download a copy of your account data as described in Section 15.
6.1 Reporting illegal content
If you believe that Content hosted in the Service — for example a view-only or public project, a comment, a photo or an embedded project — is illegal, tell us at support@blueblinkone.com. So that we can assess it, please include: (a) why you consider the Content illegal; (b) the exact link (URL) to it, or other information that lets us find it; (c) your name and email address, except where the report concerns child sexual abuse material; and (d) a statement that you believe in good faith that the information in your report is accurate and complete. We confirm that we have received your report, decide on it in a timely, diligent and objective manner, and tell you what we decided and how you can challenge it.
6.2 How we moderate content
We do not monitor Content in general. We act on reports, on orders from authorities, and when we otherwise become aware of Content that is illegal or breaches these Terms. Decisions are taken by our staff; we do not use automated tools to moderate Content. Depending on the case, we may remove Content or disable access to it, limit how it is shared (for example by setting a project back to Private), or suspend or terminate an account (Section 15), acting in a proportionate way and with due regard to the rights and interests of everyone involved.
When we restrict your Content or account, we tell you which Content is affected and what we did, the facts and circumstances, whether we acted on a report, the legal or contractual ground, and how you can challenge the decision — unless the law or an authority’s order prevents us. You, or the person who reported the Content, can ask us to review a decision by replying to our message or writing to support@blueblinkone.com within six months of it; we will look at it again promptly and reverse it if it was wrong. You can also go to the courts.
7. Sharing, Embedding & Guest Access
Projects have access levels that you control:
- Private — visible only to you and members you invite and, if your account belongs to an organisation, its owner, administrators and managers.
- View-only — anyone with the link can view the project without an account.
- Public — anyone with the link can view the project, and commenting may be enabled.
If you set a project to view-only or public, share a link, or embed a project on another website, you understand that the people you share with can see that project’s Content.
On eligible plans you can let people without an account — typically your own clients — measure through a guest link or an embedded project. The projects they create are stored in your account and count towards your usage, and when a guest asks for an estimate we send you the contact details and message they give. You are responsible for your guests’ use of the Service through your account, and for giving your clients your own terms and the privacy information the law requires (see Section 10).
Domain restrictions and similar controls that limit where your projects can be embedded are usage controls, not absolute technical guarantees; do not rely on them as your only protection for sensitive data — use Private projects for confidential information.
8. Organisations (Enterprise)
8.1 Owner, administrators and members
An Enterprise subscription creates an organisation. Its owner holds the subscription and is responsible for the organisation’s use of the Service, including its members’ Content and their compliance with these Terms. The owner can appoint administrators and give members roles (Admin, Manager, Member, Viewer). The owner and administrators can create and invite member accounts, suspend them, set a member’s password, sign members out, organise them in teams, transfer a member’s projects to another member, set the organisation’s policies (such as allowed email domains), and see an activity log of what happens in the organisation.
If you accept an invitation to join an organisation with your existing account, your own subscription stops renewing at the end of its current period, and you use the organisation’s plan from the moment you join; time already paid on your own plan is not refunded.
The owner and administrators can end a membership in two ways. Unlinking a member ends the membership: the account continues on its own, with its projects, without the organisation’s plan. Deleting a member’s account closes it — including an account the member had before joining — and erases its personal data as described in Section 15, but the organisation keeps the member’s work: every project and folder the member created, including those created before joining, passes to the organisation’s owner, in a folder named after the member. A member who deletes their own account has their projects erased with it, unless the organisation requires them to transfer their projects first. Members should keep their own copies of anything personal they keep in an account that belongs to an organisation.
8.2 Members the organisation creates
Accounts the organisation creates for its members — by adding a member in the dashboard, through the API or through single sign-on — are created without the member accepting these Terms. The organisation must make these Terms and our Privacy Policy available to those members, and is responsible for their use of the Service as set out in this Section.
8.3 Single sign-on
On Enterprise, an organisation can ask us to connect its identity provider (using SAML or OpenID Connect), so that its members sign in with their company account. The owner or an administrator sends the request from the dashboard, with the identity provider’s details and the email domains the organisation uses. We review the request and decide whether to switch single sign-on on. By sending it, the organisation confirms that it controls the email domains it lists and is authorised to connect that identity provider to the Service.
Once single sign-on is on, anyone the organisation’s identity provider signs in whose email address is on an approved domain becomes a member of the organisation the first time they sign in, with the organisation’s default role, and uses a seat: with automatic seats on this can buy one (Section 3.5); otherwise, when no seat is free, the person cannot join. The organisation is responsible for the security of its identity provider, for whom it lets sign in, and for removing people who leave both in its identity provider and in the organisation’s member list.
We may refuse a request, and we may suspend or switch off single sign-on — telling the owner in advance where possible — if the connection stops working, the domains or the provider cannot be verified, it is misused, or security requires it. Changes to a working connection are made by us, at the organisation’s request.
9. Developer API
Eligible plans (currently Enterprise and Open Guest) include access to our REST and iFrame APIs, authenticated by API keys issued in your dashboard, with separate keys for testing (sandbox) and live use, and webhooks that notify your systems of events. Keep API keys confidential and use them only from your own servers — except keys limited to Embedded maps, which are designed to be placed in public web pages: restrict those to your own domains on the Developer page. You must use the APIs only as documented and not attempt to circumvent plan limits, metering or security controls. You are responsible for the systems and webhook addresses you connect, and for keeping the data we send to them secure. Usage on metered plans is measured by our systems, whose records are authoritative absent manifest error. We may impose reasonable rate limits and may revoke keys that are abused or compromised.
Keys that are allowed to manage users can create and delete member accounts and obtain sign-in tokens for your members. Whatever you do with them happens in your members’ accounts: the organisation is responsible for those actions, as if its administrators had taken them in the dashboard.
Changes to the APIs. We improve the APIs over time. Before a change that would break a documented endpoint, parameter or webhook event, we give at least 30 days’ notice by email to the account owner or in the developer documentation, unless a shorter period is needed for security, to comply with the law, or because a third-party provider changes its service. We do not rename documented webhook events; new events may be added at any time.
10. Data Processing for Business Customers
When you use the Service to process personal data about other people — your guests and clients, your organisation’s members, or people whose details are in your projects — you are the controller of that data and Blue Blink One processes it on your behalf as your processor. This Section is the data processing agreement required by Article 28 of the GDPR; for Enterprise and API customers, a Data Processing Agreement that sets out these commitments in full is available on request. We will:
- process that data only to provide the Service, following your documented instructions — these Terms and your use and configuration of the Service — unless the law requires otherwise, in which case we will tell you first where the law allows;
- ensure that the people authorised to process it are bound by confidentiality;
- apply appropriate technical and organisational security measures, described in Section 11 of our Privacy Policy;
- use only the sub-processors named in Section 5 of our Privacy Policy, under written terms that protect the data as these Terms do; we will announce changes to that list at least 30 days in advance by email to the account owner, and if you object you may end your subscription before the change applies;
- help you, as far as reasonably possible, to answer requests from the people concerned and to meet your obligations on security, breach notification and impact assessments;
- tell you without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal data breach affecting that data;
- delete that data when you delete it or your account, as described in Section 15, unless the law requires us to keep it; and
- make available the information needed to show compliance with this Section, and allow reasonable audits on reasonable notice, at your cost, without access to other customers’ data.
You are responsible for having a lawful basis for that data and for giving the people concerned the information the law requires. We remain the controller of the data we process for our own purposes — account security, billing and invoicing, and the product usage events described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for unlawful purposes or in violation of the rights of others;
- upload malware or content that is illegal, defamatory or infringing;
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service, or interfere with its operation;
- access the Service by automated means other than the documented APIs, or scrape, bulk-download or redistribute map imagery and map data — including through AI detection — in violation of the map providers’ terms (see Section 13);
- remove, hide or cover the attributions, logos or notices of map, imagery and data providers, including in embedded projects, exports and screenshots;
- reverse engineer, copy or resell the Service, or misrepresent measurements produced by it as certified surveys;
- share one account among multiple people, or circumvent trial, seat, budget or metering limits.
12. Measurements, Estimates & AI Results
Measurements are approximations. All measurements, areas, distances, elevations, parcel boundaries and derived cost estimates are computed from third-party map imagery and data, which may be outdated, distorted or misaligned. They are provided for informational purposes only and are not a certified land survey, a legal or cadastral document, or professional advice. Do not rely on them as the sole basis for legal, construction, purchase or safety decisions — verify with a qualified professional. Cost estimates are based on prices you configure and carry no warranty of completeness or accuracy. Shapes found by AI detection are automated suggestions: they may be incomplete or wrong, and you should review them before relying on them.
13. Third-Party Services & Map Data
The Service integrates content and services from third parties, including map and imagery providers (Google Maps and, depending on your selection, providers such as Bing Maps, Mapbox, HERE, TomTom, OpenStreetMap-based maps, Esri ArcGIS, USGS and national mapping agencies), cadastral/parcel data sources (for example the Spanish Catastro, French cadastre services and Regrid for the USA), payment providers and authentication providers. Your use of map content through the Service is also subject to the applicable provider’s terms — for Google Maps, the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy. Third-party data is provided “as is”; we are not responsible for its availability or accuracy, and cadastral information does not constitute an official extract.
Parcel and cadastral data comes from public sources under their own licences (for example Creative Commons Attribution or Attribution-ShareAlike, the French Licence Ouverte (Etalab) or the Data Licence Germany) and, in the United States, from Regrid under a commercial licence. If you reuse parcel data outside the Service — for example after exporting it — you must follow the source’s licence, including its attribution requirements and, for share-alike licences, sharing what you build from it under the same licence. Regrid parcel data may be used only within the Service: you may not extract it in bulk, redistribute or resell it, or use it to build a competing dataset.
14. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, logos and documentation, is owned by Blue Blink One or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service in accordance with these Terms and your plan. No other rights are granted. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
15. Suspension, Termination, Deletion & Switching
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your profile. We may suspend or terminate your access (in whole or in part) if you materially breach these Terms, if required by law, in case of non-payment, or if providing the Service becomes impracticable, giving you reasonable prior notice where possible.
When an account is deleted, sign-in stops at once and its Content and personal data are erased 14 days later (except projects that pass to an organisation under Section 8.1), together with the backup copies of its projects; copies that remain in our database recovery systems expire within a further 30 days. Records we must keep by law — such as invoices — are retained for the required period. See our Privacy Policy for details. Please export anything you want to keep before deleting your account.
We may also delete an account that has been inactive for a long time: one that has not been signed into for 12 months, is more than 12 months old, holds no projects, has no paid subscription still running and is not part of an organisation. We email the account’s address when we do, and the deletion then follows the steps above.
Leaving the Service and switching providers. You can take your data with you at no charge. While your subscription is active, and for at least 30 days after it ends, you can export any project in formats including our open .mmp format, GeoJSON, KML, GPX, CSV, DXF and PDF. Exporting projects in .mmp format from your projects list, and downloading a copy of your account data from your profile (Download my data), stay available for as long as your account exists. You can end your subscription as described in Section 5 to move to another provider. Ending a subscription does not delete your account or your Content: for at least 30 days after it ends you can still sign in, export your projects and download your data, and we will help with reasonable requests to move your exportable data. Your Content is then kept until you delete it or your account, as described above.
16. Warranties & Liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that data loss will never occur — please keep your own exports of critical data.
To the maximum extent permitted by law: (a) neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill; and (b) our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim (or €100 if you have not made any payment). Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including mandatory consumer protections.
Neither party is responsible for failing to perform its obligations because of events beyond its reasonable control (such as natural disasters, war, failures of public networks or of third-party infrastructure, or acts of authorities), for as long as those events last.
17. Indemnity
If you are a business user, you will defend and indemnify Blue Blink One against third-party claims arising from your Content, your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, or your clients’, guests’ and members’ use of the Service through your account.
18. Changes to the Service or Terms
We continuously improve the Service and may modify or discontinue features. We may update these Terms from time to time; the current version is always available at this page. For material changes we will give reasonable advance notice (for example by email or in-app notice). If you continue using the Service after a change takes effect, the updated Terms apply to you. If you do not agree, you may cancel before the change becomes effective. We send notices to the email address on your account or show them in the app. Changes to the APIs follow Section 9.
19. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Spain. The courts of Castellón, Spain will have jurisdiction, except that consumers in the EU may also rely on the courts and mandatory consumer protections of their country of residence. If you are a consumer, you can also contact the consumer protection authorities of your country about a dispute with us.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, the plan details shown at purchase and any Data Processing Agreement signed with us, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
20. Contact & Legal Notice
This Section is the legal notice required by Spanish Law 34/2002 on information society services (LSSI).
